The Monster Mash

It's that time of year again, and I couldn't be more psyched. I've been on a steady diet of creature-features for the past few weeks in honor of the fast-approaching holiday while desperately trying to come up with an appropriate cartoon-character-based costume. This year marks the 5th annual costumed pumpkin carving party that my friends and I put on together, and as in previous years, I've developed some new artwork for the invitations. I was also suddenly inspired to do my own take on the vampire, abandoning the more romantic conventions that have cropped up in recent years. I'd like to see Bella's face if she sat down next to this hungry guy in biology class. No ivory skin, no perfectly coiffed, ridiculously impractical hair, no giving abrasively insecure teenage girls piggy-back rides through the woods, and absolutely no sparkles. Just an unholy bloodsucker out for a nightly stalk, doing what vampires are supposed to do; kill indiscriminately. Happy Halloween, everyone!
